Sitting by Our Cabin Door
Susquehanna Travellers
Susquehanna Travellers perform the music of Nineteenth Century America focusing on the Civil War era and Irish music. The musicians are Civil War re-enactors and members of the 87th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry. The band got it's start playing traditional tunes around their campfire at Civil War reenactments. Staying true to their roots, this premier CD from Susquehanna Travellers was recorded as a live two-track recording rather than a heavily engineered multi-track production. In doing so the Travellers hope they have captured what they enjoy most, and the band invites you to share in their love of playing - and their campfire.
