"Win the War Blues" is a collection of blues and r&b songs by major artists reflecting the African American experience of the Second World War. Starting with songs about recruitment followed by songs about the actual conflict and the eventual return to peacetime. Stars featured include, Louis Jordan, Champion Jack Dupree, Big Bill Broonzy, Sonny Boy Williamson, Tampa Red, Brownie McGhee and more.
