**Mink Deville** was one of the early house bands at CBGB's during the rise of the New York City punk scene. *'Return to Magenta'* continued in the vein of the first album *'Cabretta'*, with a mixture of rock, soul, blues, and Latin rhythms. On 'Easy Slider', the band takes a trip to New Orleans for some Crescent City soul, featuring **Dr. John** on piano for an extra note of authenticity.
