20 Years of Punk Rock

The birth of punk rock music in the late 1970's was not concentrated in one particular place or form. Rather, different strains of the movement occurred in several major big cities, among them London, New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, D. C. RAGE, a documentary exploring the first 20 years of punk rock, focuses primarily on the American West Coast scene, which pivoted around L. A. Bands including the Dead Kennedys, TSOL, Christian Death, and the Circle Jerks are explored.
