The cassette tape was an extremely popular audio format back in the 1970s and was still sold right up to the end of the 90s and beginning of the 00s. Suddenly, the music cassette disappeared, where it was primarily replaced by the CD. However, that was not the last we saw of the cassette tapes - in recent years it has gained great popularity again and several musicians and bands are once again choosing to publish on this format.
