As one of the central figures behind the sound of the 1980s, Midge Ure is especially known as the frontman of the 80s version of Ultravox, as well as for his work with Visage and Thin Lizzy. He was also a co-creator and founder of the aid projects Band Aid and Live Aid, and helped create the Christmas single "Do They Know It's Christmas?".
