Bruce Dickinson | More Balls To Picasso

Bruce Dickinson’s iconic 1994 solo album reimagined and reloaded

'Balls to Picasso' is Bruce Dickinson's second solo album. It was originally released in 1994 after multiple scrapped recording sessions with various line-ups, before finally completing the album with Roy Z and the band Tribe of Gypsies.

Now, three decades later, the legendary Iron Maiden frontman reclaims and redefines that vision with 'More Balls to Picasso', a bold reworking of the original album that offers renewed intensity, enhanced production, and modern sonic power. This is not a simple reissue. The project emerged during Dolby Atmos mixing sessions of his catalogue, when he realized that what this album really needed was… more balls.

Produced by Roy Z, Brendan Duffey, and Antonio Teoli—with additional guitars from Swedish shredder Philip Näslund—the album features a complete remix and remaster of the original material, enriched with layers of strings, horns (courtesy of Berklee College of Music), and Amazonian-inspired instrumentation on select tracks like “Gods of War.” Additionally, "More Balls To Picasso" includes two previously unreleased live-in-the-studio tracks, "Gods Of War" and "Shoot All The Clowns".
