SYNOPSISSivert Olafsen, a real old timer in the police force, ends his career as investigator in the West Coast town in Norway. His newly appointed female police chief is of the opinion that he is burdened with an untidy and unhealthy lifestyle. He lives alone after his wife for many years died from a progressing Multiple Sclerosis, MS. A stormy night as he was the duty officer, called out in a fierce storm to an accident with unexpected consequences in the West Coast town. Sivert's team with Oskar Moe and the new police recruit Eva Strand gets a handful, people smugglers, weapon smugglers, street prostitution and drugs. The learning curve is steep for the young police officers. They are expected to investigate and break up a criminal network! Chaos break loose with the murder of a pathologist; the assistant being exposed to a deadly overdose and change out two dead ones at the morgue.
