Divine Justice

Criminals are running scared in the dangerous city streets of Chicago as a mysterious vigilante known only as the Redeemer fills the city with the blood of those he deems sinners. In order to clean up the crime in the city, but also offer a sense of mercy, believing that nobody is born evil, the Redeemer chooses to save the souls of the sinful before ending their lives. Detective Monica Ayala and her new partner, Malik Wade, have been given the task of bringing down the murderous vigilante. Even though the bodies continue to build, the community seems to be okay with the Redeemer's activities to cleanse their streets of the drugs and other criminal enterprises making the detectives' work much more difficult. After a recent murder, The Redeemer has made a powerful enemy in local mob boss, Tony Rossetto, after someone close to him was taken out by the vigilante. It's a race against the clock as both the Chicago Police Department and the Mob look to take down the Redeemer who some believe not to be human, rather a demon of the night.
