Biosorption of Toxins from Waste Water- a Green Approach: Elimination of Toxic Metals and Organic Pollutants by Solid-phase Extraction Using Flash Chromatography

Over last few decades environmental pollution is a major subject of global concern, mainly due to proliferating development of industry. Contamination of water is one aspect of this pollution. Present research work is an effort to find a viable solution of this worldwide problem, especially without or with minimum use of synthetic chemicals. The major aim of this study was to introduce some suitable bioadsorbents easily available in Pakistan for selected toxic metals and phenolic compounds.
