MARVIN sees the Light in a Dark World is a nonfiction book that examines a case of an unwanted child. Abused child also, he becomes overcome by fear and distrust, and sets out on a journey in search for a sense of value, survival, fulfillment, and peace in a dark world. He sees the Light. On his journey, he faces obstacles due to false direction given by pied pipers of the dark world trying to derail him. Their maps provided them, and therefore Marvin, with misleading information. Marvin is delivered and receives the right Road map for direction by the Light. The Light leads him along the road to purpose, joy fulfillment and peace worth more than the dark world's material wealth could buy.
