Bennie's back! He's short and hairy and lovable. He's everybody's favorite black-and-white golden retriever on basset hound legs!



In BENNIE AND THE PETS, volume 2 of Conversations with Bennie, he's busy exploring the animal world. His dog friends, Annie and Brodie, keep him on his toes every day. He has questions for his pet guardian about North Dakota, Irish wolfhounds, foster dogs, and dog diseases. He learns what he has in common with buffalo and that not all dogs are black-and-white.
