Sean McCreedy's love for adventure brought he and his bride from Ireland to America, then on to the frontier. Now their children are nearly grown and a new frontier is beckoning. The opening of the Oregon Territory will provide the perfect opportunity to challenge the skills he has taught his children as they embark in a covered wagon across the wilderness in the quest for the fulfillment of his family's new dream. Only daughter Rebecca shares her father's desire for adventure. She soon finds herself in the most unlikely of circumstances.
