Mary Christina Chapman

This story takes place around 1890 in the somewhat lawless land where Utah, Nevada, and Arizona comes together. It had been settled by Mormons a couple generations earlier and polygamy was acceptable, whether it was actually legal or not. This is a story about reverse polygamy. Mary Christina Chapman had inherited a fairly large ranch when both her parents died. She didn't need a husband. To help her run the ranch she needed several husbands Her sexual preference was a young woman who had been raised on another ranch in the area. The booklet is over 50000 words long and explores the thinking and social mores of Mary Chapman as she defies the societal ban on polygamy and does it with three husbands and a female lover. She was an independent thinker and felt if men could marry several women, then she should be able to marry several men, and a woman also if she chooses. These were bold people who lived their lives the way they felt was best, not by anyone else's standards.
