He is a retired soldier, pastors Christian Life Fellowship Church, the founder of Harvest of Life, a prison ministry, and an Ambassador for the Army Freedom Team Salute. He has traveled to over thirty countries and enjoys meeting people of different cultures. His has ministered to the underground church in other countries on behalf of missions. He presently lives in Reidsville, GA with his wife Ruth. They have three children and seven grandchildren.
