Life is a struggle and all creatures great and small have evolved fantastic ways to survive this struggle. It is not necessary to travel to exotic places to enjoy nature. Every back yard woodlot or neighborhood stream abounds with living creatures with interesting stories to tell. This book contains a collection of short stories about the nature in my back yard, the river behind my house and the seashore close by. It also contains a collection of easy to do nature activities that can be performed with no specialized equipment.
