Downtown Stories: a Collection of Short Stories from Our Creative Community

About Downtown Stories: In the fall of 2010, the staff of Downtown Books & Coffee decided to start a contest that would showcase the creativity, talent and storytelling ability of its local community. The Downtown Stories Contest took in short story submissions of all genres from all ages. Once a month, a winner was chosen who received a gift from the store as well as their own place in this anthology that includes stories from all of the winners. About Downtown Books & Coffee: Downtown Books & Coffee is an independently owned bookstore that was founded in the summer of 2010 to provide Auburn, NY with a wide selection of books, quality coffee, and a warm atmosphere. With a strong focus on "keeping it local," they offer many books written by and about Auburn community members, past and present. Whenever you?re in town, be sure to stop by the local bookstore, browse the titles, chat with the friendly staff, and don?t forget to... GET BOOKED DOWNTOWN.
