The English rock band Rolling Stones was founded in 1960-1962 on the DartFord Maypole County Primary school. The band was strongly influenced by i.a. The Beatles, Robert Johnson and John Lee. The band was inspired by the music genre blue in the 1960s, and created their own subgenre. Mick Jagger, who is the band's singer, is worldwide known and has become an icon on his own.
