Christmas in New Orleans with Her Bae

When Mariah's man, Giovanni catches her doing the unspeakable, she is left wondering what to do next. Facing eviction with little money, she makes the decision to pack up her things and go visit her family in her hometown, New Orleans. Although the journey is an emotional one since she hasn't been home in over three years, it's worth it when she sees her family.

During the welcome home gathering thrown together by her cousin, Denise, Mariah meets the handsome Samson. The two strike up a conversation and find they have a lot in common. After exchanging numbers, the two chat every day for weeks. Samson finds himself drawn to Mariah in a way that is unfamiliar to him. He finds it hard to concentrate on anything but her and when they start spending time together, they realize the spark that has been ignited within them is too hot to put out.
