Eclectus are dimorphic, implying that there are visual qualifications between the genders. Males are a radiant green and have a horn-hued mouth, with a sprinkle of dazzling blue on the wing and a dazzling red under wing. The females are a shocking red with a profound violet stomach and a dark snout. Truth be told, due to these distinctions, these birds were not reared effectively for a long time since raisers were putting males with males and females with females! It wasn't until years and years prior that somebody understood that the green birds were male and the red birds were female.
