Mossbauer Spectroscopic Study of Iron Oxide Based Nanomaterials: Synthesis and Hyperfine Parameters

Over the last few years experimental research has grown beyond the limit with adequate infrastructure. Research in nanotechnology is one of the major area in this context which is realized all the time in our day-to-day life. So nanoscience or nanoengineering has developed tremendous interest on young researchers in fabricating new materials with distinct morphology with useful applications. Transition metal oxides have claimed to be on the front row in this direction with variety of applications with new properties in low dimension. These materials are often studied by using different spectroscopic techniques in order to understand the inherent properties and in this project we have used Mossbauer spectroscopy to study iron oxide based nanocomposites. The intention of publication of this work is to grow motivation among graduate students especially from Indian Universities towards experimental research.
