esop was 12 when he entered into the household of Iadmon. Though misshapen and ugly his intelligence endeared him to all. He became famous as a teller of animal stories. (fables). Very little is known of his actual life. This book is a fictional biography. He lived in a period very similar to ours. There were larger forces at work, - a clash of two world civilizations was inevitable. The story is told in a series of episodes tracing his early years, fame and his disgrace.
