The Hemlock Girl

At seventeen years old, Karissa has never been lucky enough to find love - but hopefully her luck is about to change. At a school function, she runs into a rebellious teen named Jasper, who sparks a fire in her that she didn't expect. While exploring the potential of a relationship, Jasper introduces her to a group of friends in his development - The Hemlock boys. With news traveling fast of a new girl's arrival into the crew, each guy is curious and intrigued. Following her head instead of her heart, and allowing fear to take over, Karissa throws a possible relationship with Jasper on the back burner to explore a few other relationships which causes a mess she might not be able to clean up. Luckily, Karissa is able to discuss her dating woes with one of the Hemlock boy's sister, Dakota. Wise beyond her years, Dakota offers some inspiring advice over and over again and becomes Karissa's go-to dating guru. Thrown out of her comfort zone by Jasper over and over again, Karissa can't seem to get him off her mind. Standing around bonfires by the lake, at parties with good looking people, and silent talks on the cool-night sand under the stars, she realizes that she needs to give love a chance. Just when Karissa thinks life is going as planned, disaster strikes one of the guys and everyone's lives will be changed forever. Karissa will now have to decide if she follows her heart and holds on to something that might never work out, or let it go and regret it forever.
