The Book of Enoch or 1 Enoch - Complete Exhaustive Edition

The Book of Enoch also known as 1 Enoch, is an ancient Jewish religious work or a sacred text ascribed by tradition to Enoch, the great-grandfather of Noah. The Book of Enoch is not part of the biblical canon as used by Judaism, apart from Beta Israel. Most Christian denominations and traditions accept the Book of Enoch as having some historical or theological interest or significance, but like Judaism, most Christian denominations and traditions also generally regard the Book of Enoch as non-canonical or non-inspired, and thus is not considered part of Christian theology but rather is considered as part of sacred writings or wisdom literature and used more as a bible study & reference tool. The Book of Enoch is however regarded as canonical by the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church and Eritrean Orthodox Tewahedo Church, but not by any other Christian group. Robert Henry Charles, known more widely as R. H. Charles was an Irish biblical scholar and theologian. He is known particularly for English translations of apocryphal and pseudepigraphal works, and editions including Jubilees and the Book of Enoch, and the Testaments of the Twelve Patriarchs. R. H. Charles' work is considered by many to be wisdom literature and much of his work is used as bible study & refernce tools. R. H. Charles was born in Cookstown, Co. Tyrone, on August 6th, 1855 and educated at Belfast Academy, Queen's College, Belfast and Trinity College, Dublin, with periods in Germany and Switzerland. He gained a D. D. and became Professor of Biblical Greek at Trinity College. He also became archdeacon of Westminster in 1919, serving until his death in 1931.
