Alphabet Alliteration Bilingual Serbian English

Are you ready for a new way to learn the alphabet? This isn't your average A B C's. Those of you who remember, "She sells seashells by the seashore", will enjoy this book immensely. A twist has been added to the basic "A is for apple" that will make learning the alphabet crazy fun. Alliteration has been used for each letter of the alphabet. Alliteration is the repetition of initial consonant sounds in two or more neighboring words. Serbian is practically the only European standard language with complete synchronic digraphia, using both Cyrillic and Latin alphabets; speakers read the two scripts equally well. The Serbian Cyrillic alphabet was devised in 1814 by Serbian linguist Vuk Karadzic, who created the alphabet on phonemic principles. The Latin alphabet was designed by Croatian linguist Ljudevit Gaj in 1830. For ease of translation, this book uses the Latin Alphabet.
