Gloria Miles, wife of respected Baptist minister, Reverend "Rev" Miles, is the first lady of their church who bakes Sock-It-To-Me Cakes for her husband once a week, ensures that the house is kept well and the language used in it, kept clean. A teacher and loving mother of one, she is intimately playful and flirtatious with her husband as any wife in a healthy and happy marriage would be. Theirs is the perfect union; a sanctified one from which others should pattern their own. But things aren't always what they seem. After seven years of marriage, a space had grown between Gloria and Rev and neither of them knew what was pulling them so far apart. In a mutual agreement to separate, they briefly went their own way. Just when they find their way back to each other, their marriage is threatened once again; Gloria is keeping secrets from Rev.
