Eat yourself to death

Nothing good comes easyLets make it clear from the outset; there are no quick fixes to changing your food choices permanently. it will be difficult, you will have to make sacrifices, you will get depressed at your lack of progress, you will bury your head in the sand, you will feel hopeless, you will fall off the wagon, you will climb back on again, you will buy the wrong foods, you will succumb to the takeaway temptation, you will devour a meal for two and wash it down with enough fizzy soft drink to float a boat, you will squeeze into your clothes, you will delude yourself that you are losing fat but all you have lost is water, you will not be able to see certain parts of your body, unless you look in a large mirror, you will take part in every diet craze going, you will wonder, WTF! how the hell, did I get this big? You will ask your partner; does my bum look big in this? You will comfort eat, you will throw up, you will not be able to look at yourself in the mirror. You will do all of the above and more but if you persist with the ideas outlined in this book, you will triumph. It will be a bloody hard battle but in the words of Winston Churchill; "never give in, never, never, never".
