The street has an almost magical quality to it. Some people find true happiness while others know only tragedy. Harmony Wells is a beautiful poor violinist who has come to Austria for her music. She meets Dr. Peter Byrne who is an American expatriate. Young Dr. Stewart and his lower-class lover Marie also live on the Street of the Seven Stars.
