Nothing much ever happens in Butte, Montana, for seventeen-year-old Daniel Tadpole and his little brother, Sam-that is, until the aliens show up. Big, bug-like creatures with a penchant for invading planets (like ours). Now, the Tadpole brothers find themselves an unlikely last chance for humanity as they hop a ride aboard an intergalactic space cruiser that's part of a sinister armada. And to think they were just trying to find their lost dog! Drawing on their Cherokee heritage (and a childhood filled with science fiction movies), Daniel and Sam will surprise even themselves with the depth of their courage. But will it be enough to stop the plans of this alien race-and make it back alive?
