A young mountain girl finds herself in the family way at the age of 15. As was the custom in those days she was forced to marry. She faced hardships and uncertainty with a man who didn't want to marry her and who blamed her for their situation. She had but two choices; to remain weak and hope for the best, or to develop an inner strength and confidence and take the bull by the horns and wrestle it for all its worth.
