Family Threads

Families and quilts have been intricately stitched together from the beginning. Families and quilts each have their own unique stories to tell. Just as a quilt is pieced together from separate and distinctive pieces of fabric, so, too, a family. In wonderful parallel to broader, historic trends in quilting, this book tells the individual stories of one Southern Illinois family's life through the lens of one hundred years of their quilts.
